Routine Jones oater has him putting a stop to a range war between cattlemen and sheepmen. Notable as one of the few talkie appearances of Louise Brooks, an idol of film cultists when her early silent films were rediscovered in the mid-1950s. EMPTY SADDLES represented one of her vain attempts at a comeback after her retirement from the screen in 1931.
