Deep in the jungle of Nool lives Horton (vo... read more

  • Jeers: Idol Tarnished by Truth | Cheers & Jeers | 3/12/2008
Jeers to Fox for soiling its squeaky clean American Idol with promos for the super-sleazy Moment of Truth. Less than 15 minutes into this week's Beatles-themed sing-off, the network ran an ad for the lie-detector game show in which a contestant answers yes to the question, "Have you ever had physical relations with any of your friends' wives?" (It was followed, ironically enough, by a spot for the G-rated Horton Hears a Who!) C'mon, Fox, a lot of us watch Idol with our kids! We don't want to explain this trash to them — and that's the cold, hard truth. read more
  • Steve Carell's Office Preview: "Things Go Terribly Awry" | Party Central: The Latest Buzz from Your Favorite Stars | 3/10/2008
Steve Carell took some time out at the premiere of his new movie Horton Hears a Who! to chat about The Office's much-anticipated return. Filming on the NBC hit resumed March 6, and six episodes will round out this post-strike season. It involves Michael Scott having a dinner party for some of the couples in the office — and obviously things go terribly awry."Another bonus for Office fans, courtesy of Carell: The season finale will be an hour long. The Office returns April 10 at 9 pm/ET. — Summer Brooks read more
