A standard mystery, but one of the better films in the series. Baxter helps framed arsonist Dunne get paroled from jail. While attempting to discover who was responsible for his framing, Dunne becomes the chief suspect in the murder of the man who got his old job when Dunne went to prison.
It's up to Baxter to unravel the mess, and he comes up with a pretty good surprise ending when he discovers the identity of the killer.
