This ordinary western has Taylor living the role of a well- to-do rancher who feels that good fences make good neighbors. The villains of the piece want to keep barbed wire out of Wyoming in 1883. Caulfield is the female interest, so you can imagine the surprise when she gets drilled about two-thirds into the film.
