Sappy comedy/melodrama starring Tracy as a puppeteer at a carnival whose wife dies while giving birth to their daughter. Tracy's father-in-law, who disowned his daughter after her marriage to the carny puppet master, sues for custody of the infant, claiming that a carnival is no place for a single man to raise a child.
