Not one of the better films in the "Beach Party" genre, this film stars Kirk as a beach jock. The girl of his dreams, Walley, thinks that he is a big zero. In order to win her love, he pretends to be his bookworm twin. She, of course, is bowled over by the twerp, but the charade doesn't
last long. Some great 1960s bands, the Gentrys, the Toys, the Animals, and the Castaways, are featured.
