Top-drawer, sophisticated comedy has suave playwright Boyer marrying dedicated doctor Sullavan who tells him that his numerous past affairs mean nothing to her. She insists that each have an apartment in the same building and that they meet only once a day, at 7 a.m., a situation which
makes for some very funny episodes. Excellent acting, production values, and skillful direction add up to a delightful film. The film earned an Oscar nomination for Best Sound.
