To hype his scatterbrained client's flagging movie career, zany press agent dreams up a dozen screwball stunts to get her publicity, creating one trouble spot after another for Ball, including a stint in a female reformatory. The last stunt backfires when Ball is kidnaped by real gangsters and forced to be party to a crime.
