Horton is a wimpy bookkeeper, bullied by his boss and his girl friend, who doubts his manliness. Tired of working for nothing, he finally gets up the nerve to ask the miserly boss for a raise and proves his worth to his lady. Predictable and basically dumb. This one didn't get a rise out
of anyone, let alone a raise for excellent actor Horton, who finally makes it big financially when some land he owns turns out to be worth a fortune.
