On Wednesday's premiere of the four-part series, anatomist Joy Reidenberg and veterinarian Mark Evans examine the reproductive behaviors of elephants and introduce viewers to a pregnant elephant named Kiti. Throughout the interesting hour, learn how females select their mates, why they have the longest pregnancy in the animal kingdom and how they safely give birth. Viewers will also meet a group attempting to control the elephant population, which includes collecting a bull elephant sperm sample -- which is apparently a five-person job!
