Then meet Joe Maddalena, the man who has made it his life mission to hunt down lost relics that have been dispersed around the globe. In Syfy's new series Hollywood Treasure (Wednesdays at 10/9c), auctioneer Maddalena travels the world to save the cultural artifacts from film and history —including the original Wicked Witch of the West's hat from The Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppin's bottomless carpetbag — that have wound up people's garages and basements.

The Vampire Diaries' second season took a sharp turn when one of the show's innocent teens, Caroline (Candice Accola), became a vampire. Executive producer Kevin Williamson says he never doubted which of the series' humans he wanted to take to the dark side.
