Any scoop on Grey's Anatomy? — Jamie
NATALIE: In an upcoming episode, Meredith has to leave the OR when she suddenly goes blind! Wow, that was depressing. I should have led with the shower sex, huh? OK, Soap Dropper No. 1 isn't single now, but he or she will rival Callie and Arizona's sudsy frolics from earlier this season. Any guesses as to the not-so-squeaky-clean pair?

What's coming up on Desperate Housewives? — Amy
ADAM:
Two Wisteria Lane ladies will deal with trauma in different ways: Susan will use her dialysis as an excuse to get out every problem she has, right up until a neighbor offers to donate a kidney in a most unusual way. Meanwhile, Gaby will... read more

When are Rachel and Finn getting back together on Glee? — Harper
NATALIE:
You'll be waiting a while on that one. "We are broken up," Lea Michele says with finality. "We're bringing Rachel back to Season 1 a little bit with the yearning for Finn." So look for more of Rachel trying to get back together with Finn every now and then. And also lots of Michele's crying face.

What else can you tell me about the Bones sniper episode? I want to see it already! — Justin
ADAM:
Why don't I let David Boreanaz, who also directed the pivotal episode, tell you? "It will definitely be the finale of the Gravedigger," he confirms. But it sounds like the Gravedigger (aka U.S. Attorney Heather Taffet) has one final trick up her sleeve, as Boreanaz hinted at... read more

Mad Love Boss: Judy Greer a Better Fit than Lizzy Caplan

Mad Love, Judy Greer

CBS's new romantic comedy, Mad Love, lost cast member Lizzy Caplan before the series was picked up, but executive producer Matt Tarses says her replacement, Judy Greer, is a much better fit.

Caplan signed on for a role in the pilot. Due to her commitments on the since-canceled Starz series Party Down, Caplan declined to join Mad Love as a series regular.

Check out the rest of today's news

"Lizzy Caplan did [the pilot] as a guest role for us; she was never going to do it for the series," Tarses said Friday at the Television Critics Association winter previews. "The part, to be honest, was a little more of a part that fits... read more

A Land Before Time: Can Terra Nova's Travelers Survive Dinosaurs, Change the Future?

Jason O'Mara

It's 2149 and Earth has been destroyed by overpopulation. Scientists discover a crack in the space-time continuum, which leads to a pre-historic era. Presented with a new, lush landscape, a military-lead colony heads to the past in hopes of giving humanity a fresh start.

Also, there are dinosaurs!

That's the premise of Terra Nova, an ambitious new series from executive producer Steven Spielberg. Filmed in Australia, the series' intricate storyline and verdant setting may scream Lost, but producers insist that's the furthest thing from their mind.

"This has nothing to do with Lost for one major reason: read more

Off the Map: Not Just Grey's Anatomy in the Jungle

Caroline Dhavernas, Tessa Thompson, Martin Henderson

Off the Map may seem like Grey's Anatomy in the jungle, especially with executive producer Shonda Rhimes attached. But series creator Jenna Bans tells TVGuide.com that the show will set itself apart.

How? Jungle medicine.

Map centers on three doctors, portrayed by Caroline Dhavernas, Zach Gilford and Mamie Gummer, who venture to South America to work at a clinic with less than hospitable surroundings and a natural lack of resources. "Here, it's 1952: You don't have high-tech, you don't have big pharma, you have your brain, you have your instincts," Dr. Ben (Martin Henderson) explains to the new doctors after he punches a guy in the face to act as anesthesia in the pilot's opening moments.

Have you heard anything more about the new character on Hawaii Five-0? — Mark
ADAM:
The show is still on the lookout for what's now being described as a young version of Jack Ryan from The Hunt for Red October. (That doesn't rule out the ladies though, as we're hearing the character could very well be a woman.) Further, we'll first meet the character as part of a protection detail enlisted for McGarrett. But we'll soon learn that he or she also has a score to settle with Wo Fat.

Will Phil and Claire role play again this Valentine's Day on Modern Family? — Ron

V Pulls Back the (Lizard) Layers in Season 2

V, Elizabeth Mitchell

When ABC's V returns for its second season, the days of sitting around waiting for the Visitors to get the upper hand are over. Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) and the ragtag group of resistance fighters called the Fifth Column are on the offensive.

Season 1 followed FBI agent Evans, often the moral compass of the Fifth Column. The group, however, was small, and their journey was slow and arduous. Because of the ethical lines Erica refused to cross, she often kept the group from waging the war that should've begun in Season1.

Jane Badler returns to V as a new, "more mature" Diana

Jane Badler Returns to V As a New, "More Mature" Diana

V

When ABC's V returns, the alien invasion series will welcome a very familiar face.

Jane Badler, who starred in the original 1983 miniseries, returns to the world as Diana, the mother of the ruthless leader of the Visitors, Anna (Morena Baccarin). While her character's name is the same, the new Diana is nothing like the Diana of before. (Makes sense: The series is a reboot, not a continuation of the original miniseries.)

In the original, Diana was the sadistic deputy leader of the Visitors who pioneered the mind control experiments on humans. Like the remake's Anna, Diana was not someone to be messed with.

But Diana 2.0 is different in significant ways, Badler says. She's a lot more... read more
