In this episode, team leader Carter Shaw — he of the street-smart focus, hard-bitten worldview and obligatory facial stubble — lurks deep in the shadows, consulting his dark underworld acquaintances to take down a crooked yet decorated cop. But this assignment to crush a fellow police officer tests Ty's moral code — particularly after his wife floors him with big news. Michael Biehn, who played Kyle Reese in 1984's The Terminator, guest stars.

The promo seems to be promising agita involving Mandy, Kristian and Tali, but we shall see.

Things spark when an angry Eddie decides to drown his sorrows at a bar — and not just any bar, but Kevin's bar. As Jackie's lover tosses back shots and beers, a cheery Kevin sings the praises of his lovely wife, and you just know that something's gotta give. Later at the hospital, a drunken Eddie confronts Jackie, who is so shaken that she attempts to self-medicate, and that sends her spinning.

To make matters worse, it appears that Bill's vampire voodoo is no match for the maenad's mind-control mayhem, and Sookie may be too late to help Tara out of her Dionysian daze. One bright spot, however, may be the chance that Jason can put his commando training to good use after all.

Los Angeles is the new setting for Season 6 when 16 fresh clothiers compete in the usual fierce fashion-themed heats, designing their ware at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Series staples Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn return, as do judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

Landing squarely in the middle of the case: none other than Charlie. Meanwhile, gruff but lovable Provenza is ready for a big life change.
