Is Peter Bishop a man or a machine? Maybe both. In this exclusive shot from tonight's episode of Fox's Fringe (9/8c, Fox), titled "Reciprocity," we get a peek at our hero hooked up to something as the team tries to figure out his connection to Walternate's doomsday device.

Upset that the CW has pulled tonight's episodes of Supernatural and Smallville at the last minute? Blame Chicago politics.
The CW decided to repeat Thursday night's episodes of The Vampire Diaries and Nikita after learning that at least two major markets — Chicago and Baltimore — were pre-empting the shows. In Chicago, CW station WGN is airing a Chicago mayoral debate, which will likely draw increased interest due to the drama over candidate Rahm Emanuel (whose eligibility has been called in to question). In Baltimore, a college basketball game is pre-empting the shows.
Now that they've flipped through The Vampire Diaries and conjured all things Supernatural, the CW is looking to dig up another genre fave: zombies.
The CW is developing a script for the hour-long drama Awakening, about two sisters who face off against one another just as a zombie uprising begins. (This being the CW, we can probably assume Awakening will boast the best-looking zombies in the history of the genre.)
With original Beverly Hills, 90210 stars Jason Priestley and Luke Perry both turning down invitations to reprise their iconic characters on The CW's reboot, their collaboration on Hallmark Movie Channel's Goodnight for Justice may be the closest we'll ever get to a Brandon-Dylan reunion. Priestley's participation this time is strictly behind the scenes, directing his former costar in a role Perry created for himself: righteous Old West judge John Goodnight. Perry, now 45, and Priestley, 41, reminisce with TV Guide Magazine.

"I got my SAG card doing the first ever commercial for Dasani bottled water. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Sure, getting a brand-new house to replace an aging double-wide trailer was "a dream." But for Jeanne Brown, seeing her 12-year-old daughter Katrina "smile like she used to," when she met Justin Bieber, was the best part of her Extreme Makeover: Home Edition experience.
Prince William and his future princess, Kate Middleton, are about to get the Lifetime movie treatment.
Lifetime has fast-tracked the TV movie William & Kate, which will star Nico Evers-Swindell (NCIS: Los Angeles) as Prince William, now second in line to the British throne. The role of Kate has not yet been cast.
William & Kate will chronicle the love affair between the mismatched couple (he's royalty, she's the daughter of upper middle-class commoners), including their recent engagement and this spring's highly anticipated Royal Wedding. The two-hour project will also star ...
The NHL didn't go old school when it shook up its All-Star Game. It went elementary school. Remember picking kick ball teams at recess? That's basically what the two captains — Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes and Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings — will do Friday (8/7c, Versus), selecting teams in a fantasy draft from a pool of players voted in by the league and fans. It's a radical departure from the usual Eastern Conference versus Western Conference format. "Picking sides is fascinating," says play-by-play announcer Mike Emrick, who will call Sunday's game for Versus. "Do you...
