Hello, friends and bannermen. Game of Thrones' dangled the Stark family reunion before us and brought lusty Lysa to our screens. How did the episode match up with the books? How did it differ?
On any given episode, the cast of Glee goes through intense choreography lessons and lengthy recording studio sessions on top of the many hours spent on set filming. But star Chris Colfer had to go to even further lengths, and greater pains, for Tuesday's new episode of the Fox musical (8/7c, Fox) in particular.
"I should have taken pictures of the welts that the wires caused," Colfer tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "I definitely suffered for this art."
The Golden Globe winner went the extra mile in more ways than one. In addition to...
Nick and Jess will have to face a harsh reality during New Girl's season finale (Tuesday, 9/8c, Fox) when they're forced to spend an entire weekend together on a cruise ship — a super romantic trip they planned before their split.
To soften the blow of having to spend the trip together, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) invite the whole gang along. But, being the frugal spenders that they are, Nick won't pass up the chance to get their money's worth during the trip, even if that means being forced to do romantic activities like couples yoga and massages with Jess. Unfortunately, those events will actually make them realize being just friends is much harder than they thought. What does that mean for the future of the gang and their living situation? TVGuide.com turned to executive producers Dave Finkel and Brett Baer to get the scoop:
Jet and Cord's "off" day came at a terrible time on The Amazing Race All-Stars Sunday. After making a series of navigation errors in Seville, Spain, the cowboys missed a clue at the bulls Detour and got U-Turned by Leo and Jamal, who reneged on the Accidental Alliance's plan to U-Turn Brendon and Rachel. Their sliver of hope vanished when they were beaten to the second U-Turn by Caroline and Jen, whom they had directed to the Detour clue earlier. "It was just as disappointing watching it back as it was being there," Jet tells TVGuide.com. "It's always hard to get eliminated and it's like reliving it all over again. It's the second time we got U-Turned and eliminated." Check out what else they have to say about their "poor leg," the Accidental Alliance, if they'll race a fourth time and literally riding off into the sunset.
Our feelings for Sunday's Game of Thrones can be summed up in one word: Hodor! If you need more than that, check out the rest of the recap.
Berlin is coming for Red.
On Monday, The Blacklist (10/9c, NBC) kicks off the first of a two-part epic season finale. "The midseason finale 'Anslo Garrick' is sort of the inspiration for the template of this episode, in the sense that we've got a really great Blacklister and a case that is worthy of a two-parter," creator Jon Bokenkamp tells TVGuide.com. "The finale is big and muscular. It's so big that it's not one that we can really squeeze into one episode with all the other serialized mythology and storytelling we want to do. "
