Josh Brolin has checked in to rehab, Us Weekly reports.
Brolin's reported decision comes a few weeks he was videotaped in a drunken brawl with a bouncer at a Santa Monica, Calif., bar on Nov. 2. Over the same weekend, the actor was also caught on tape getting into verbal altercation with a cab driver who rear-ended him at a Del Taco drive-thru.
Rob Ford, Doug Ford and Matt Lauer
Mayor Rob Ford continued to defend his leadership ability on Tuesday's Today Show after being stripped of most of his powersMonday by the Toronto City Council.
Nearly two weeks after Ford admitted to smoking crack during a "drunken stupor," he attempted to frame his admission as a sign of moral integrity, since he isn't afraid to admit his mistakes.
"I'm embarrassed. Not just myself," Ford told Matt Lauer. "My family, my friends, my supporters. I take full responsibility for that. We've all made mistakes, Matt. I'm not perfect. Maybe you are, maybe other people are. I've made mistakes. I've admitted to my mistakes."

After MSNBC suspended Alec Baldwin's talk show Up Late for two weeks in the wake of the actor's apparent use of an anti-gay slur, the actor has now said the talk show might never return.
"Whether the show comes back at all is at issue right now," Baldwin wrote onThe Huffington Post. "The show is no doubt a work in progress and one that I believe featured some interesting guests and disseminated a good deal of interesting information. But if the show dies, its fate ends up being no different than the vast majority of start-up TV programming, and so be it."
Surprising celebrity family ties
Baldwin also took the opportunity to address the accusations that he recently directed a homophobic epithet at a photographer. "What word is said right after the other choice word I use is unclear. But I can assure you, with complete confidence, that a direct homophobic slur (or indirect one for that matter) is not spoken ... My friends who happen to be gay are baffled by this. They see me as one who has recently fought for marriage equality and has been a supporter of gay rights for many years. Now, the charge of being a 'homophobic bigot,' to quote one crusader in the gay community, is affixed."
Winning his court case against his accused stalker apparently didn't putAlec Baldwin in too great of a mood. Only a few hours later, when a paparazzo approached the actor's family, Baldwin allegedly called him a "c---sucking f--."
It seems as though Paula Deen's E! True Hollywood Story might not be so "true" after all. According to Gawker, the documentary is nothing but "revisionist propaganda."
The website reports that while the one-hour episode, which aired Monday, did touch upon Deen's recent racism scandal, it appeared to frame Deen as a victim of circumstance, and conveniently ignored her wish to get black waiters to play the role of slaves at a plantation-themed wedding party and the two disastrous apology videos she posted after canceling her first Todayshow appearance in June.

Miley Cyrus has broken her silence about her controversial Video Music Awards performance, in which she asserted her adulthood by motor-boating a backup dancer's butt, simulating sex with a foam finger and twerking on Robin Thicke.
"I don't pay attention to the negative," Cyrus told MTV, adding that she isn't the first to cause scandal on the VMAs stage. "Madonna's done it. Britney [Spears]' done it. Anyone that performs, that's what you're looking for. You're wanting to make history. Me and Robin, the whole time were like, 'We're about to make history right now.'"
