Production on the Twilight sequel New Moon has just gotten under way, but the series' producers are already looking ahead to the third installment.
Summit Entertainment has picked David Slade to direct The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Slade succeeds Catherine Hardwicke and Chris Weitz, who directed the first and second Twilight films, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg returns to write her third Twilight screenplay.

Terrence Howard isn't bitter about being dropped from Iron Man 2 at all.
The star, who was reportedly dropped from the sequel after salary negotiations went south, isn't shy about his dissatisfaction with the film's producers.

After the fallout surrounding The Da Vinci Code, director Ron Howard is trying to get ahead of any criticism that his latest film, Angels & Demons, is anti-Catholic.
"Let me be clear: Neither I nor Angels & Demons are anti-Catholic," Howard wrote on the Huffington Post. He also suggested that Catholics who give his movie a chance will find something to like. "I believe Catholics, including most in the hierarchy of the Church, will enjoy the movie for what it is: an exciting mystery, set in the awe-inspiring beauty of Rome."
