When Jimmy Kimmel decided to pull a prank on Twitter during Sunday night's 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Tracy Morgan didn't hesitate to help out. Actually, he was more than willing: He suggested taking his shirt off for the bit — something Kimmel (probably wisely) decided to nix.
Morgan wasn't the only one who quickly answered Kimmel's call for help with this year's awards show. Stars from Girls' Lena Dunham and Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul to singer Josh Groban and the reality emcees who butchered the Emmys as hosts five years ago all went beyond the call of duty. Jimmy Kimmel Live! co-head writers Molly McNearney (who in her spare time is also Kimmel's fiancée) and Gary Greenberg gave TV Guide Magazine some exclusive tidbits on how this year's Emmy laughs came together...
The audience at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards nearly got an extreme close-up of Modern Family star Sofia Vergara when the cast went up to accept the award for Best Comedy at the end of the evening.
Vergara had a wardrobe malfunction just before the winner was announced, with the zipper on the back of her dress splitting open and leaving her rear exposed.

We don't know if this counts as the "biggest prank ever," but Jimmy Kimmel's interactive stunt during the 64th Primetime Emmys worked pretty well, sparking as many as 25,000 tweets, according to @TwitterTV, a feed that tracks tweets about television. (It was not immediately known how many Facebook posts it yielded.)
And the award for best tweeter at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards goes to ... Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who offered a play-by-play of the evening on his feed, starting with he and new fiancée Justin Mikita getting ready for the ceremony with their moms.
