The special will culminate with the annual salmon run, as the bears must attempt to double their body weight before hibernation season sets in. Three members of a reality TV crew were killed when their helicopter crashed in the middle of the night in northern Los Angeles, according to reports.
The names of the victims weren't released; however, they were filming a military-themed show for the Discovery Channel when the crash happened around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, the Huffington Post reports.

The special will pick up where the Emmy-nominated Ultimate Air Jaws left off, with shark expert Chris Fallows and natural history producer Jeff Kurr embarking on a quest to track a 14-foot great white named Colossus in Seal Island, South Africa.
