A Supernatural Spin-off Will Happen If "The Idea Is Right," Creator Says

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles

All right, who sold their soul at a crossroads? I'm not angry, I just want to know who to blame for The CW's continued interest in producing a Supernatural spin-off.

Series creator Eric Kripke recently spoke to TV Line about potential future efforts to expand the world of Sam and Dean Winchester in the wake of last season's failed attempt to launch Supernatural: Bloodlines, which aired as a backdoor pilot but wasn't picked up to series. read more

Henry Ian Cusick and Paige Turco

The CW's The 100 returns this week for Season 2 with more post-apocalyptic tales and a new focus, as the teens exiled to an irradiated Earth are joined by their parents. Executive producer Jason Rothenberg filled out TV Guide Magazine's Watch My Show survey to explain why there are hundreds of reasons to catch up with The 100.

Now that Jake has been arrested, please tell me that Olivia will finally find out that Rowan was behind Jerry's death on Scandal. — Denise

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like that reveal is coming any time soon. "You always think it can't go on any longer, but they twist it in a way you didn't even think of," star Brian Letscher, who plays Tom, teases of the (inevitable?) reveal. "Rowan is a master manipulator .... and the ripple effects of Tom [saying Jake ordered him to kill Jerry] affect a lot of people in ways he never imagined."

Got anything about the final season of The Newsroom? — Ashley

The season premiere is set around the events of the Boston Marathon bombing and, owing to ACN's screw-up with the Operation Genoa story last season, everyone is appropriately gun shy about reporting the "facts" of the story too quickly... read more

The 100 Creator on Who Survived and the Mystery Behind Mount Weather

Eliza Taylor

The best sci-fi show on TV returns Wednesday and it's on The CW. Though it initially appeared to be yet another post-apocalyptic teen drama (love triangles and all), The 100 quickly set itself apart from the pack with its gritty realism and complex world-building. When the series returns for its second season, it continues the momentum of last year's (literally) explosive finale and builds on it by introducing viewers to the mysterious underground compound Mount Weather. But could this really be the 100's salvation? Find out what creator Jason Rothenberg has to say about this, who survived and what's to come.

I'm worried about Irving on Sleepy Hollow? Is he going to be OK?  — Heather
Actually, it turns out that selling your soul to the Horseman of War isn't all bad. "There's part of signing that contract that does work in his favor," executive producer Len Wiseman says. "As dark as that is, there's something in the offer that's quite hard to turn down. It is something that his character is going to have to struggle with because the temptation is not an easy one to turn his back on."

Is Hart of Dixie Heading for Cancellation? Consider the Evidence

Wilson Bethen

I don't want to start any rumors, particularly the sad kind, but things aren't looking so good for Hart of Dixie, y'all.

Despite CW President Mark Pedowitz's claims over the summer that fans shouldn't read into the show's shortened episode order as an impending cancellation, the evidence is beginning to stack up.

Review: Not-So-Plain Jane the Virgin

Jane the Virgin

Bless the TV gods for bestowing upon this mostly mediocre fall season the year's most promising new rising star and most instantly adorable new character: Gina Rodriguez as Jane Villanueva, a good girl in an impossible situation. The CW's Jane the Virgin (Mondays, 9/8c) is an infectiously enjoyable confection of outlandish telenovela-inspired soap opera (think Ugly Betty) grounded in lovably fractious family dynamics (think a Latina Gilmore Girls — and how Jane would have been welcomed on the still-sorely-missed WB network).
