Amazing Race's Connor and Jonathan: Sled Inconsistency "Screwed Us Over"

The Amazing Race

Despite going from first to last, Ivy League a cappella singers Connor Diemand-Yauman and Jonathan Schwartz ended their Amazing Race run on a high note, serenading Phil Keoghan at the Pit Stop. "We knew we wanted to sing for Phil and we knew it would be poetic if we sang if and when we were eliminated," Schwartz tells TVGuide.com. "Because it was on our graduation day [from Princeton University], we thought it was a cool, ironic moment. There was no sadness, no tears." But there were still moments the 22-year-olds "would rather forget" on the show's first-ever trip to the Arctic Circle.

TVGuide.com: That was one of the happiest eliminations I've seen with you singing. You obviously knew you were last, right? How far behind were you?
Connor:
Oh yeah! It was relatively close. When you keep things ...

After four seasons as Heroes' Hiro Nakamura, Masi Oka wanted his next major TV character to be completely different.

But he soon found some unexpected similarities between Hiro and medical examiner Max Bergman, his new recurring character debuting tonight on Hawaii Five-0.

"First of all, [the role] was all English-speaking, although it does sound like I'm speaking a foreign language because of all these medical terms," Oka tells TVGuide.com with a laugh.  Like Hiro, Max has some super-special abilities: He's a MENSA member and a piano prodigy... read more

CSI: Miami's 200 Episode Reveals Cops' Dark Side

Adam Rodriguez, David Caruso, Jonathan Togo

CSI: Miami's 200th episode is appropriately called "Happy Birthday." But while a celebration usually is marked with cake and streamers, CSI: Miami commemorates the occasion by showing a darker side of policing and putting our upstanding team in a difficult situation.

"This episode is special in that we cross over into a grey area for cops, where you're trying to do the right thing, and you are the good guys, but you have to do grey area things to get your information," says Eva La Rue, who plays Natalia Boa Vista. "[The suspects] have beaten an 8-month-pregnant lady, and left her for dead by the side of the road, and we have found one of the guys, but not the other. He won't give up his friend, so he gets roughed up a bit."

The entire cast agrees... read more

Finale Watch: Mad Men, Rubicon

Jon Hamm, James Badge Dale

The times, they are always a changin' on Mad Men, but as often happens with this fascinatingly unpredictable series, the changes come where you least expect them. After the last several weeks of intense workplace drama, priming us for another game-changer in the wake of Don Draper's anti-tobacco manifesto, Sunday's thoroughly absorbing and entertaining fourth-season finale takes a startling hairpin turn back to the personal. Cut to the headline: Don's getting married. To Megan!

Ask Matt: Fringe, Terriers, House, Bones, Fall Malaise and More!

Anna Torv

Question: I know that you and many others are loving this season of Fringe with the alt-world, Doublivia high jinks but I am a bit more, shall we say, off-put. One of my problems is that I'm getting a very Charmed vibe about the whole thing. Allow me to explain. I was a devoted Charmed fan (until the unfortunate last season), but one of the staples of that show which always bothered me were the possession/body-swap type episodes. One of the sisters would be overtaken or possessed or swapped out or what have you and the other sisters would take forever and a day to noodle it out. No matter how strangely or out of character they acted, they would sense nothing was amiss until the whole thing blew up in their faces. With Fauxlivia in the mix on our side, I'm getting that familiar feeling of "Really? Come on!" when it comes to the continued obliviousness of the rest of the cast.... read more
