Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Lisa Vanderpump says she was verbally attacked at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge on Christmas Eve.

VanderPump told TMZ that she was having dinner with her husband, two elderly people, and Los Angeles news reporter Robert Kovacik when a man walked up to her table and began berating her. When Kovacik, a longtime reporter at the NBC affiliate in L.A., stood up and asked the man to stop, Vanderpump says the man punched Kovacik and shoved her husband to the floor.

Report: Simon Baker Strikes $30 Million Deal with Warner Bros.

The Mentalist's Simon Baker is finalizing a deal with Warner Bros. Television for more than $30 million, Deadline.com reports.

That figure includes money already promised to Baker in his current contract. As part of the new deal with Warner Bros., which produces The Mentalist, Baker will add another year to his six-season contract. He'll also get a producer credit on the series beginning in Season 5 and he will receive an additional piece of the show's royalties. Warner Bros. sold the syndication rights to TNT in November 2009 for $2.2 million per episode.

Hugh Hefner gave his girlfriend a pretty good Christmas gift.

The 84-year-old Playboy founder proposed to his 24-year-old girlfriend, Crystal Harris Friday night. "I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve," Hefner  tweeted. "When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory."

Hefner later clarified that he did indeed ask Harris to marry him. "Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring," he wrote. "I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all."

Tyler Perry Pledges to Rebuild an Atlanta Woman's Burned Home

Filmmaker and TV producer Tyler Perry is bringing a Christmas miracle to an Atlanta grandmother who recently lost her home in a fire.

Rosa Lee Ransby and her 4-year-old great-granddaughter escaped a fire Tuesday in her Coweta County, Ga., home, The Associated Press reports. Firefighters began soliciting donations soon after for the 88-year-old woman.
