This week's Project Runway had its unconventional-material challenge. The designers complained about having to create a look out of items found in a hardware store, and Emilio struggled more than the rest. Singer-songwriter Mark Linkous, leader of the indie rock band Sparklehorse, committed suicide over the weekend, his family said. He was 47.

"We are thankful for his time with us and will hold him forever in our hearts. May his journey be peaceful, happy and free. There's a heaven and there's a star for you," Linkous' family said on Sparklehorse's site.

There's only one way to answer when asked how cool you are, and Sandra Bullock answered right on the Oscars red carpet: "I'm pretty cool." She was talking about her historic acceptance of two Razzies on Saturday and a best actress Oscar on Sunday, which made her the only person ever to win Hollywood's least and most prestigious awards in the same weekend. Bullock also joined by her Blind Side co-star Quinton Aaron, who described what she's like when the cameras aren't rolling. We're guessing... cool?
