Will How I Met Your Mother End in Two Years? Our Burning Questions Answered

How I Met Your Mother

In 2007, ABC gave Lost a multiyear pick-up and set an end date for the series. Last week, CBS renewed How I Met Your Mother for two years, but made no mention of a series finale for the mystery-laden sitcom.

How I Met Your Mother gets two more seasons

The order is not surprising: Mother is a solid hit, the cast was already contracted through eight seasons, and Carter Bays told TVGuide.com in the fall that he and co-creator/executive producer Craig Thomas had plotted out the rest of the series beyond its current Season 6. But now that the pick-up is official, will the next two seasons also be its last two?

Bays answers our burning questions about the show's future, why he doesn't feel pressure to introduce Mrs. Ted Mosby, and what's in store for the rest of the season.

Troian Bellisario

Could Pretty Little Liars' Spencer be "A"?

"That's my favorite thing to wonder, actually," Troian Bellisario tells TVGuide.com.

As the girls have been working toward figuring out who killed their friend Alison, they've found one of their own has come under suspicion. All season long, the mysterious "A" has been one step ahead, and has gone even further in recent episodes to pin Spencer as a possible murderer. Bellisario says she hopes her character has a bit of a shady history.

Dancing's Kendra Wilkinson: Don't Pick Me to Win

Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra Wilkinson may be the second of Hef's former girls next door to compete on Dancing with the Stars, but don't think she turned to Season 8 alum Holly Madison for pointers. "I'm very stubborn like that," Wilkinson tells TVGuide.com. "If anyone tries to tell anything to me, I shut them up immediately. There's only one piece of advice I'll take and that's from [partner] Louis [van Amstel]." So how are rehearsals going for the self-proclaimed tomboy with zero dance experience?

Jimmy Fallon Celebrates Two Years on Late Night: My Parents Are Now Addicted to Red Bull!

Jimmy Fallon

Two years and 406 episodes later, Jimmy Fallon has just one complaint about the success of Late Night: His parents now crave Red Bull.

"I wish my parents would DVR my show or Tivo it. They're staying up too late," Fallon told TVGuide.com. Apparently, mom and dad watch the show live every night at 12:37 a.m. "They're becoming night owls. They're opening up a night club now. They're addicted to Red Bull. I'm afraid for their health."

But aside from his parents' sleep deprivation, Fallon had little to complain about at Friday's PaleyFest panel celebrating his two-year anniversary. "It's gone by so fast," he said. "Sometimes it feels like two weeks and sometimes it feels like 100 years."
