ABC is back in the weight-loss reality show game, only this time taking competition out of the equation. In the network's new series Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, trainer Chris Powell works with a different morbidly obese participant in each episode, which spans a year of their transformation. Monday's debut follows 21-year-old Rachel, who not only struggles with her weight, but with gaining her family's support in her new lifestyle. The news that Paget Brewster will return to the cast of Criminal Minds in Season 7 gave many fans reason to cheer. But executive producer Erica Messer's reaction was more a sigh of a relief.

Messer, who will officially handle showrunner duties this season, is coming off a Season 6 that was rocked by the never-fully-explained cutting of two fan favorites, Brewster and A.J. Cook, from the cast. But with both women now back on board, Messer says she's excited to move forward.

NFL quarterback Tony Romo and girlfriend Candice Crawford got hitched at Arlington Hall in Dallas, Texas on Saturday evening, People reports.
Over 600 guests were invited to the nuptials including Crawford's older brother -- Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford -- many of Romo's teammates and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who received special permission to attend the ceremony during the leagues' ongoing labor dispute.
Orlando Bloom has signed on to The Hobbit, director Peter Jackson announced.
"Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas. I'm excited to announce today that we'll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more," Jackson wrote on his Facebook page. "I'm thrilled to be working with Orlando again. Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn't! I guess that's why he makes such a wonderful elf."
Lindsay Lohan has settled a lawsuit stemming from a car-chasing incident three years ago, the Associated Press reports.
Tracie Rice says that in July of 2007, she was the passenger in a car driven by the mother of Lohan's former assistant and that Lohan was driving another car and chasing them down the Pacific Coast Highway. The pursuit ended in the actress's arrest. Rice then filed a lawsuit stating she was traumatized and lost a well-paying job because of it. No details of the settlement, which was reached on Friday, were released.
