Report: DJ AM Had Nine OxyContin Pills in His Body

DJ AM

Authorities investigating the death of DJ AM have discovered nine OxyContin pills in his body, a police source told People.

Eight of the pills were undigested in the celebrity DJ's body, and another was in his mouth, according to the source. The finding leads authorities to believe DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, swallowed the pills quickly, which supports theories that he was trying to commit suicide.

Fashion Hit or Miss: Thigh-High Boots

Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian

Remember those patent-leather streetwalker boots Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman? Well, whether you like it or not, you're about to see a whole lot more of them this winter.

The over-the-knee footwear — fondly referred to as "hooker boots" or "f--- me boots" amongst girlfriends — is taking the place of leggings as a wardrobe staple.

Kate Hudson wore a suede pair over skinny jeans, but more often than not they replace pants altogether. Kim Kardashian (aka J-Lo 2.0) demonstrates the look with leather heels and a belted mini-dress.

To sum up: Dresses shorter, boots higher.

Fashion Hit or Miss: M.I.A

M.I.A.

Just when you thought nothing could top the peekaboo ladybug get-up M.I.A. donned at the Grammys (she was due any minute), the singer is now channeling her inner tigress as a form of fashion — and perhaps political — expression.

Look closely at her sequins: That's a tiger's face emerging from the minidress' animal-print bodice. Sure, offbeat looks are de riguer for the "Paper Planes" singer, but were the red Dynasty-style shoulder poufs really necessary?
