Blake Lively has been named the official face of Chanel's new handbag line, the company announced on its website.
"Her spontaneity and fresh, youthful image have convinced Chanel that she is the right person to represent the house and this range of bags," the announcement read.
When it comes to the Jersey Shore gang, it's tough to distinguish between right and wrong, who we like and who we don't. Check out our breakdown of each cast member and what we thought about them — well, at least this week.
Snooki, The Brand: Jersey Shore star strikes licensing deal
For her: We give her a lot of credit for keeping an open mind and trying to play nice with Sammi. And she lived up to her self-assigned moniker "blast in glass" when she gives the Situation a free show of her lady parts when she "accidentally" pulls down her bikini bottom. Whoops!
Against her: Granted, she was beyond trashed, but she was still a bit mouthy for a newbie. But Deena's worst offense of the night was offering to share her vibrator with J-Woww and Snooki. Really?
Verdict: Love her
For her: She's still an oasis of relative calm (when she's not brawling), no matter how drunk her housemates get. She's made some progress in ...
How I Met Your Mother
Our top moments of the week:
12. Cutest Acceptance Speech: When Neil Patrick Harris picks up his best comedy actor trophy at the People's Choice Awards, he is forced to switch languages from English to baby talk ("ug-ha, baga-badga," to be exact), in order to thank his new twins. (Note to other celebrity parents: Only Harris has the skills to make baby talk seem charming.)
11. Most Progress: Orson tries his best to win back Bree on Desperate Housewives by denigrating her surprising relationship with Keith. Just when fans think her ex-husband has won...
Oprah Winfrey's been all over the place promoting her new network, OWN. Over the past few weeks, she's granted many, many interviews, ranging from a sit-down with Barbara Walters to posing for the cover of Parade. To little surprise, millions tuned in to the channel's Jan. 1 debut.

During the Television Critics Association winter preview on Thursday, Lady O descended a room of TV reporters, and here are 10 things we learned, in no particular order:
Casey Thompson, Top Chef
Top Chef has had some chaotic elimination challenges, but this week's jumbled dim sum service resulted in a whole lot of angry — and hungry — patrons reduced to stealing food off the carts. During the madness, front-of-the-house volunteer Casey Thompson was forced to leave her dish in her fellow cheftestants' hands, and the judges' described the final product as "inedible."
Find out what the Texas native says about what went wrong during the disastrous service, why she went on a limb and opted to use chicken feet, and if she blames her colleagues for what went wrong with her dish. Plus: Why was she convinced Jamie was going home over her?
How did Ricky Gervais' next show, An Idiot Abroad, wind up on The Science Channel? Thank Karl Pilkington.
Fans of Gervais and Stephen Merchant's popular podcast (and subsequent HBO series) already know Pilkington is the pair's friend and longtime punching bag. In An Idiot Abroad — billed by the network as "the most elaborate practical joke-turned-social experiment in television history" — Gervais and Merchant send him to see the Seven Wonders of the world.
VIDEO: First look at Ricky Gervais' new series
Gervais explained why Pilkington has the makings of a Science Channel star. "Karl sees things very differently from the rest of us," he said via satellite Thursday during the Television Critics Association's winter previews. "He does investigate, he does do what science does and...
