Jennifer Lawrence will join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak to announce the 84th annual Academy Award nominations, the academy announced Monday.
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, Sherak and Lawrence will reveal the nods for 10 of the 24 categories during a live announcement at 8:30 a.m. EST. The conference can be seen on the official academy website. Parts of it also are covered by the network morning shows and cable news.
Erica Durance, who starred on The CW's Smallville as Lois Lane, is about to kick some butt on Harry's Law (Wednesdays, 9/8c, NBC).
Durance takes on the role of a somewhat mentally unstable woman who believes she's Wonder Woman. Her character, Annie Bilson, will find herself on the wrong side of the law when she metes out her own form of justice. Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott has married drummer Chris Tyrrell, the couple announced on their band's website.
"We just wanted you to hear it from us first," Scott says in the video message. "We love you. We're so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news."

The American Idol team came out swinging Sunday when reporters at Fox's winter TV preview asked how they felt about the threat of similar formats like The X Factor and NBC's The Voice; the latter which will air during the same time frame as Idol this year.

House, Fringe, Terra Nova
Want to know if your favorite Fox show will be back next season? You're going to have to wait a little while longer.
In particular, the fates of House, Fringe and freshman series Terra Nova remain undecided, Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly told reporters Sunday at the winter TV previews. "We've done a good job of avoiding some of these big decisions," Reilly said with a laugh. "I do feel fortunate that we have some high-class problems."
