Shape magazine's Editor-in-Chief Valerie Latona apologized to readers for featuring "husband-stealer" LeAnn Rimes on the cover of Shape's October issue, calling it a "terrible mistake"

As the old saying goes, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Unfortunately for the La Flor tribe on Survivor: Nicaragua, Jane knew how to fish, but didn't feel like feeding anyone but herself. "That was infuriating," tribe mate Jill Behm tells TVGuide.com. "It's pretty hypocritical." After switching from tribes from Espada to La Flor, the older players had little to protect them from the majority. But instead of sticking by her original teammates, Jane left Jill and Marty out to dry and joined forces with the younger players. Jill, a 43-year-old ER doctor, talked to TVGuide.com about Jane's accusations, Marty's big move and her biggest...
Modern Family, The Ellen Show
Our favorite moments of the TV week:
12. Hardest-to-Root-For Good Guy: On Boardwalk Empire, agent Van Alden's creepy crush on Margaret Schroeder takes on a quasi-religious bent this week. As the pious prohibitionist looks longingly at a file photo of Margaret, he flogs himself with a leather belt. A topography of scars on his back reveals that this isn't the first time he's had to punish himself for impure thoughts.
11. Most Recycled Storyline: Kevin and Scotty, Brothers & Sisters' most beloved and functional couple, are dealt a...

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
To promote Thursday's airing of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, ABC revived last year's ad featuring Charlie Brown rapping the sales pitch about it.
"Hey, party people, it's Charlie B / Bringing Halloween Thursday to ABC," Charlie rhymes. (Really, it's just the old animation with new voiceover.) "Raking leaves and rolling on a pumpkin / Trick or treat, and then the party gets thumpin.'" In the longer version of the ad, the fun continues: "Lucy's getting bossy / Snoopy's getting saucy / Things have gotten crazy with my Peanut posse." Crazy! "But where is Linus? / This party is posh / he's waiting in the field for a mythical squash." Mythical squash!
When vampires and werewolves turn up in the same movie or TV show, a clash is inevitable.
But if you had to pick a creature of the night to have your back, would it be True Blood's vampire sheriff Eric or sexy (furry) beast Alcide? Buffy's Angel or Oz? Twilight's Edward or Jacob?

"When we created Big Love in 2002, we had a strong conception of the journey the Henrickson family would make over the course of the series, of the story we had to tell," executive producers Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer said in a statement. "While we were in the writers' room this year shaping our fifth season, we discovered ...
