Keri Russell, Maggie Q
The new fall season ushers in an especially charming and lovely group of leading ladies. Keri Russell takes a comedic turn in Running Wilde while Maggie Q breaks hearts and necks in the new Nikita. Dana Delany plays a brilliant-but-broken medical examiner on the procedural drama Body of Proof, but Melissa McCarthy sparkles in the half-hour sitcom Mike & Molly. Let us know who you're looking forward to watching in our poll below!
The Bold and the Beautiful is famous for its gutsy storylines, and this one's a jaw-dropper. In the cliffhanger of the September 24 episode, control-freak matriarch Stephanie Forrester — played by four-time Emmy winner Susan Flannery — will find out that she has stage 4 lung cancer. Stephanie will stubbornly refuse treatment and decide to keep the dire news from her family, choosing instead to spend her final months checking off items on her bucket list: She'll throw herself a birthday party complete with a Silly Slide, ride the rollicking roller coaster at the Santa Monica pier... that sort of thing. Only Stephanie's archenemy Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be privy to the diagnosis — and that's by accident. TV Guide Magazine talked with B&B exec producer-head writer Brad Bell about this startling twist. And of course we hit him with the billion-dollar question — is Susan Flannery exiting the show? ...
Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder
By the end of the season, HBO's True Blood left Bon Temps infested with vampires, werewolves, werepanthers, shape shifters, shamans, fairies and witches. Scott Caan, Hawaii Five-0
Fans of the original Hawaii Five-O know all about the setting, the theme song and that famous catchphrase. But they don't know the new Danno ... yet.
Following his recent turn on Entourage, Scott Caan steps into the iconic role of Danny Williams on the rebooted Hawaii Five-0, premiering Monday at 10/9c on CBS. The 34-year-old actor injects a new dose of humor into the character first made famous 42 years ago thanks mostly to the line, "Book 'em, Danno."
