When it was first reported that HBO's showbiz satire was stunt-casting the porn-star of Sasha Grey's Anatomy as Vincent Chase's new, um, love interest, we assumed it would be a quickie — one or two episodes and out...
Love her or hate her, you're still talking about Real Housewives of New Jersey's Danielle Staub. Whether it's her well-documented showdowns with her reality series castmates, her ambiguous sexuality or her questionable past, the 48-year-old mother of two has never been one to shy away from the spotlight. After the hair-pull heard round the world, the reunion that brings all four castmates under one roof promises to be one heck of a riot. "At the reunion, people will be shocked. I think the cast should be ashamed," Staub tells TVGuide.com. We also talked with her about how the reunion got so out of hand, how her castmates will be exposed and those rampant rumors about Season 3.
TVGuide.com: A lot of the Housewives reunions are filled with arguments, but how did this get physical and so out of hand?
Danielle Staub: I think...

Dare I say it? This year's Emmy Awards show was almost, gasp, Emmy-worthy (well, up until that deadly stretch in the back half; kills the show every time). And with a surprising number of first-time winners, a few of them quite surprising and even for the most part surprisingly satisfying, it rarely felt like a retread of past seasons.

Question: I absolutely love The Closer! It's one of my favorite shows and I am always so eager to watch that I usually don't even wait for my DVR to get ahead enough to allow me to skip commercials. This season started off with a bang and I've loved it, but I'm a little concerned. What will happen if Brenda does become chief? On one hand, as a woman, I think it would be great for the character to be a female Chief of Police in Los Angeles. On the other hand, I am afraid for what that would mean for her position as a "closer." If she gets some distance from the cases, how can she possibly get all of those confessions that have the audience on the edge of their seats? Plus, I have not enjoyed the rather jerk-like qualities this whole process has brought out in Pope. I know he's got his heart set on being chief, but it seems a little uncharacteristic for him to be such a jerk now when he has not gone completely into that territory before. Please tell me that whatever is in the works is going to maintain the same quality of scripts and keep Brenda right in the middle of the action! Do you have any insight into the rest of the season or what impact this whole development would have for the future of the show? — Beth
Matt Roush: Now that's a true sign of devotion, watching a show in real time, not DVR time. I'm very fond of The Closer as well....
Nothing moves things along like a song. It always works for double Emmy winner Glee, and it worked for Late Night host Jimmy Fallon as he hosted a light, fast-moving Emmys. Deft comic turns from Stephen Colbert, Will Arnett and Ricky Gervais kept the proceedings lively — as did a few surprises on the winners list. Welcome to Top Moments, Emmys Edition.
Nurse Jackie star Edie Falco still insists she's not funny. Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston says his third win might be too sweet. Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi reveals that she smacked her competition, literally.
Here's what Sunday's Emmy winners said backstage:
"Honestly, I was rooting for either Michael Emerson or Terry O'Quinn to take it because I'm obsessed with...
