Annie Wersching Heads to NCIS

Annie Wersching

As Renee Walker on 24, Annie Wersching was all business — at least until a final, fateful clinch. But on tonight's episode of NCIS (8/7c, CBS), Wersching is only part business as Deputy DA Gail Walsh. Her character in the episode titled "False Witness" is "very ambitious and hardworking," says Wersching, "yet she also has some drive to get part of her personal life going. Exclusive: Scoop on the Next General Hospital Tragedy

General Hospital

Not again! The trouble-plagued city of Port Charles has seen many epic disasters in recent years — a killer virus, a towering inferno, colliding passenger trains — and now it's time to put the kiddies in some holiday jeopardy. ABC's General Hospital will kick off the new year by sending its young ones — ranging in age from tots to teenagers — on a Christmas vacation bus trip to snow country. But as usual, the HFPA threw us a few curveballs — some very sweet surprises and some egregious omissions.

Watercooler: These Are a Few of HIMYM's Favorite Things

How I Met Your Mother

OK, so the Saturday Night Live spoof of Oprah's Favorite Things will always be the champ, but How I Met Your Mother did a pretty winning riff on the salute to screaming excesses last night, too. In fact, one might say it was HYS-TER-I-CAAAAALLLLLLLL.

Inspired by Marshall and Lily's (almost) happy baby news and terrified that he wasn't doing anything important with his life, Barney decided to use his holiday bonus to gift the MacLaren's crowd with his favorite things. Bellowing a la O, he handed out velour tack suits, remote-controlled helicopters and condoms to the sort of fanfare usually reserved for a Harpo Studio full of volunteer workers being traumatized into incontinence by the annual bounty of freebies from the Queen... read more
