Tila Tequila is taking a shot at rumors... that she may or may not have started herself.
A month after reportedly posting on Twitter that she was pregnant and wanted the baby daddy to "step up," the bisexual reality star took to her MySpace Celebrity page to say, rather cryptically, that she is not currently with child. (Or maybe we should've known that already since she deleted the late-night tweets that indicated otherwise.)
"First of all....the PREGNANCY rumors....the point is ...
Kyra Sedgwick describes her Closer character, Brenda Johnson, as "incredibly delicate and fragile and yet really, really strong and fierce" — and to look at Sedgwick, that could describe her as well. Dressed in an immaculate white dress, surrounded by a crush of people working the room at TNT's recent spring presentation to reporters and advertisers, she looks as endangered as a lilly at the side of an on-ramp.
Until you see her up close.
Sedgwick, it turns out, is ripped.
Lisa Ling and Laura Ling
U.S. journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling, sister of former View co-host Lisa Ling, have been sentenced to 12 years in a labor prison by North Korea's Central Court.
The reporters, who were working for Current TV, a company co-founded by Al Gore, were convicted of a "grave crime they committed against the Korean nation and their illegal border crossing," the Korean Central News Agency said.
Claiming suspicion of "hostile acts," North Korean authorities detained Lee and Ling along the China-North Korea border on March 17. The two were on assignment reporting on the plight of North Korean refugees.
"We are deeply concerned by the reported sentencing of the two American citizen journalists by North Korean authorities, and we are engaged through all possible channels to secure their release," U.S. State Department spokesman Ian Kelley said in a statement. "We once again urge North Korea to grant ...
Contrary to earlier reports, The Hangover topped the weekend box office in its debut weekend, overtaking Up.
Hangover earned $45 million — about $1.8 million more than Sunday's estimates, according to the Associated Press. Pixar's animated Up was close behind, with $44.2 million in its second week.
While the raunchy Hangover exceeded expectations, another comedy underwhelmed...
Kathy Griffin doesn't just want to mingle with A-listers. She's also after a Grammy. And a third Emmy. And a little something on the side with on Jon Gosselin. (Or Kate.) She talked with TVGuide.com about the upcoming season of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, special guests from Bette Midler to T.I., and making Anderson Cooper blush.
TVGuide.com: In the premiere, you make a cameo in Bette Midler's Vegas show. What was that like?
Kathy Griffin: I actually got an email from her today! I did hoodwink her into being on the D-List. She basically said come out and make a joke or say whatever you want. At first she wanted me to do 10 minutes, and I said, "No, no. That doesn't make sense that you're in the middle of your gigantic production and I just come out and tell Lindsay Lohan stories." So they came up with this little thing for me to do.
TVGuide.com: Which was to recycle the joke you said on New Year's Eve that made Anderson Cooper blush?
Griffin: It was one of my great lines, but not a line that I wrote. I can't take credit for writing, "I don't go to ...
You're Edie Falco. You've got a rec room full of shiny acting awards. Everyone in town wants to work with you. What do you do next? For Falco, the answer is Nurse Jackie (premiering Monday, 10:30 pm/ET, Showtime), a dark dramedy about Jackie Peyton, an unconventional nurse at a New York City hospital who works unauthorized double shifts, robs from the rich to give to the poor and uses sex to get what she wants. Oh, she's also a highly functioning pill-popper.
Heidi Pratt on I'm a Celebrity
Heidi Pratt was hospitalized in Costa Rica this weekend for a stomach infection after she and her husband, Spencer, were sent to an isolation chamber as part of the reality competition I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! , according to reports.
After repeatedly vomiting, Heidi was rushed to a local hospital with a gastric ulcer, her sister-in-law, Stephanie Pratt, told E! "She thought she was dying," she said.
Neither NBC nor TVGuide.com's production insider would comment on Heidi's reported hospital stay, but producers denied that she was ever placed in jeopardy on the show.
Heidi checked out of the hospital on Sunday and is now ...
