The Simpsons are going to the Oscars on Fox February 20 (one week before ABC airs the real deal), and 2001 winner Halle Berry will be on stage to present an animated film award.
"Bart makes a short film version of his Angry Dad Web series and is up for an Oscar and other awards, but Homer tries to take all the credit," executive producer Al Jean tells TV Guide Magazine. "Halle starts talking about herself as she's presenting. She ad-libbed something she actually dreams about at night that we left in."
"Before I've seen a cut of the first episode, before I've seen one frame of footage, is it too early to predict a Top 5 season?" Survivor host Jeff Probst asks with breathless excitement. And for fans, that excitement is palpable as the CBS reality series enters its 22nd season with the ultimate face-off. Survivor All-Star Rob Mariano, donning his trademark Boston Red Sox cap for his fourth outing, and Russell Hantz, the game's most notorious sock-burning villain, are about to compete against 16 other contestants in a showcase of strategy and revenge in the Nicaraguan jungle (the same location of last fall's season).

"My assignment to the kids is to have them perform love ballads," says Morrison. But for some, the holiday will prove painful. "It's high school, so the couplings are sporadic," explains Morrison, "just as it is in any real high school."

The year since the Vancouver Olympics has flown by for U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn. After winning gold and bronze medals, she slowed down long enough to help crack a case on the Law & Order finale, accept two ESPY Awards and hit a hole-in-one at a golf event. Back on the slopes, she's again dueling her main rival, Germany's Maria Riesch, for the World Cup title. They'll face off at the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships, beginning Tuesday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany — which happens to be Riesch's hometown. TV Guide Magazine recently caught up with Vonn to talk about life on and off her skis and her expectations for worlds.

In the second part of our farewell to Friday Night Lights, producers and cast talk about the show's controversial storylines (murder! abortion!), the show-saving fan campaigns, sending the Taylors to East Dillon and (unbelievably!) hating on the Panthers.
