Greek's Cappie and Casey may be back together, but that doesn't mean they're going to be a happy couple.
"They come together and totally love each other and have, obviously, for years," Spencer Grammer told TVGuide.com during a recent visit to the ABC Family show's set. "As you find in normal relationships, things start to change and people start to change... or people don't change, in this case."
Greek's Spencer Grammer: The Casey-Cappie coupling won't be a "boring love story"
The cracks in the relationship become more evident as...

When Greek returns, Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) and Casey (Spencer Grammer) will be heading into an uphill battle to save their relationship. Enter Cappie's parents, who come to town to help the new pair find some clarity. TVGuide.com sat down with Lea Thompson — who plays Cappie's mom, April — on the set of Greek to find out how the parental units will save the couple during the '80s themed episode. Speaking of the 1980s, Marty McFly's mom — now 48 — also discusses how Back to the Future shaped the, you guessed it, future...
When the Greek mid-season finale airs (Mon, 9/8c on ABC Family), viewers will see what transpires after Casey and Cappie finally locked lips in the penultimate episode. Spencer Grammer, who plays Casey, told TVGuide.com that she hoped the kiss was "as rewarding for everyone as we were trying to make it." So what else can we expect down the road for Cappie (Scott Michael Foster), Casey and her ZBZ girls? Grammer tells us what's in store at Cyprus Rhodes, why she doesn't want Casey and Cappie to become a "boring love story," and how a Greek house burns down.
TVGuide.com: Last week's episode ended with Casey and Cappie finally kissing. I can't imagine they'll get off so easily in the finale.
Spencer Grammer: It's difficult because they've rekindled the friendship with Evan and [are] trying to make it OK with everybody [who] they've dated. It's definitely a challenge between them, but I think that they're really good problem-solvers and creative, funny and intelligent, so they can work it out pretty well.
TVGuide.com: And Casey has some other decisions to make in the finale?
Grammer: Casey's got to figure out, does she go with Panhellenic or is Katherine [Gamma Psi member and Panhellenic president] trying to sabotage them? Ultimately you see what she chooses.
TVGuide.com: And what about Casey and Katherine's rivalry during Songfest? (Watch ZBZ's performance here.)
You won't have to wait long to see what's in store for the students at Cyprus Rhodes. ABC Family has scheduled the midseason premiere of Greek — which will end the first half of Season 3 come Monday — for Monday...
Shirley Jones, David Cassidy
I think I love this: Shirley Jones will guest-star on ABC Family's Ruby & the Rockits, playing mother to David and Patrick Cassidy, her real-life stepson and son, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Shaun Cassidy, another of the actress' sons with the late actor Jack Cassidy, executive-produces the new comedy. He joked that Jones got the role the old-fashioned way.
"She slept with the producer," he tells TVGuide.com. "Although in her defense, I was two years old at the time and afraid of the dark."

Alexa Vega with David Cassidy in Ruby & the Rockits
In ABC Family's Ruby & the Rockits (premiering Tuesday at 8:30/7:30 CT), former Spy Kid Alexa Vega plays a teen who introduces herself to David Gallagher, the father she never knew. But since Dad (played by Partridge Family front man David Cassidy) is busy living off the fumes of his once-ago success ...
Meaghan Jette Martin
As far as teen movies go, 10 Things I Hate About You ranks near the top, perhaps even trumping Clueless as a cult favorite, depending on who you ask. And like Clueless, the 1999 romp — which launched the careers of Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles — has hit the small screen (Tuesdays at 8 pm/ET, on ABC Family). "The movie is such a wonderful, classic teen comedy. ... We're breathing new light into it," Meaghan Jette Martin, who plays socially ambitious Bianca Stratford, tells TVGuide.com. "It's like opening it up to a new generation of kids." Find out what else the 17-year-old has to say about the show, how she masters that French accent and what she has to say to the haters.
There will be life and death on the Season 2 premiere of The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Monday, 8 pm/ET, ABC Family). Someone will get pregnant (not hard to figure out who) and, as already revealed, someone else dies. "[The death] affects everybody, but I'd say it affects the youth of the show more so," Ken Baumann tells TVGuide.com. Baumann's good boy Ben has his own drama to worry about now that baby John makes four for him, Amy and Ricky. See what else Baumann has to say about the "very dramatic changes," how he prepared to play a father and which teen is the better parent.
TVGuide.com: The show's premise was built around a pregnant teen. Were you worried about heading into Season 2 now that Amy's given birth?
Baumann: I think everybody has that small concern ...
