Saving Grace

24
9 pm/ET FOX
Talk about taking one for the team! Jack has been exposed to Starkwood's pathogen, and he's getting sicker by the hour. This prompts the return of his daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), whose stem cells may be his only hope for a cure, but Jack is reluctant to ask for her help. Meanwhile, Tony Almeida operates in the field as Jonas Hodges and Starkwood try to blackmail President Taylor's administration.

Tracey Ullman's State of the Union

Tracey Ullman's State of the Union
10 pm/ET Showtime
She's back! The prodigiously talented and incredibly amusing Tracey Ullman returns for a second season of skewering Americans in the news (and celebrity visitors to America). She kicks things into comic high gear with a wickedly funny spoof of Heather Mills (Paul McCartney's ex) as a reality-TV star. Other highlights include Ullman as Texas-ranch retiree Laura Bush presiding over a garage sale featuring "doodads and objets d'art" from her White House stay, and a send-up of Celine Dion doing post-Katrina calamity cleanup in New Orleans.

Thrilla in Manila

Thrilla in Manila
8 pm/ET HBO
This documentary is an engrossing look at one of boxing's most famous events, the third heavyweight meeting of Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. The story is told from the viewpoint of the less-flamboyant Frazier, who felt incensed and betrayed by the taunts of Ali. It also focuses on the dramatic conclusion of that fight after 14 rounds — and the consequences that haunt both fighters today.

Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights
9 pm/ET NBC
The Lights are going down on the third season of NBC's critically acclaimed (and recently renewed!) drama. In tonight's season finale, everyone's eyes are on the future, some more enthusiastically than others. Billy and Mindy finally tie the knot, while Eric anxiously awaits the status of his contract review. Meanwhile, the teens are doing their own reflecting as Tyra waits for news about college, Matt considers leaving his grandma and Julie, and Riggins and Lyla wonder about the future of their relationship.

Parks and Recreation

MLB Baseball
7 pm/ET MLB
It may be last to the cable-channel party among the major American sports, but MLB Network has gained many fans after three months of off-season and preseason fare. The main course arrived this week with regular-season coverage, headlined by tonight's launch of Thursday Night Baseball in San Francisco. Sixteen different teams are showcased in the first eight games on the schedule, with veteran voices such as Bob Costas, Jim Kaat, Joe Magrane, Harold Reynolds and Matt Vasgersian in the booth.

Lost

America's Next Top Model
8 pm/ET CW
Fo, Tyra's self-proclaimed "mama's pupil," must be considered the front-runner after last week's high praise from Banks on her smiling eyes and a best-photo win. On the bottom is self-destructing Celia. She is, arguably, the most fashion-conscious model, but her ill-advised tirade at panel against Tahlia will likely be her downfall. Nigel, especially, is itching to get rid of her. Tonight Clay Aiken coaches the models during an acting class, and Cycle 11 winner McKey prepares the gals to shoot a cosmetics commercial.

Rescue Me

Rescue Me
10 pm/ET FX
When last we saw Tommy Gavin (a very long 19 months ago), he was sitting next to his dead dad in the stands of a minor-league ballpark. He'll bury Michael Gavin tonight with his characteristic flair, then get on with his life. Priority No. 1: Deal with that Section 8 procedure Chief Feinberg has initiated against him. Why, then, is Feinberg acting so nice? Meanwhile, Colleen has a new boyfriend she doesn't want Tommy to know about, and so does Janet. Michael J. Fox guest stars.

House

House
8 pm/ET FOX Mos Def last week and now Meat Loaf — unusually named pop stars are just dying to get into Princeton Plainsboro these days. Expect House to have his hands full tonight: Meat Loaf's character, a guy named Eddie, is already on death's door when his wife (Colleen Camp) collapses while taking care of him — and she gets worse once she's in the hospital. In the next bed, Eddie is beginning to show some improvement, and the ordeal they're both undergoing rekindles their romance.

The Tudors

The Tudors
9 pm/ET Showtime
It's the return of the king, as this royal melodrama, one of Showtime's crowning achievements, begins a third season. Serial bride-taker (and killer) Henry VIII (his number of succession, not the total of women he married), is betrothed for the third time. Gentle, genteel and kindly noblewoman Jane Seymour (Annabelle Wallis) is his choice, and the pressure mounts on her to provide him with a male heir, while Henry deals with a northern uprising over his anti-Catholic Reformation.

Nora Roberts' High Noon

NCAA Basketball Tournament
6 pm/ET CBS
Michigan State takes on Connecticut in tonight's Final Four opener. These teams have only met twice, with the Huskies winning in the 1998-99 season and going on to win the NCAA title, and the Spartans beating UConn in 1999-2000 and winning the tournament that year. In Game 2, North Carolina is the only team playing tonight that has players with Final Four experience (losing to Kansas last year), while Villanova's Jay Wright is the only coach among the four that has not won an NCAA title.
