Imagine that Keith Partridge grew up and was contacted by his long-lost daughter. That's not exactly the premise for this comedy, but it's close. David Cassidy portrays an aging pop star who was once in a band with his brother (played by David's half brother Patrick). His daughter, Ruby (Alexa Vega), shows up out of the blue, and now irresponsible David needs suburban dad Patrick's help raising her. Shaun Cassidy is the show's creator and an executive producer, keeping it all in the family.

There will also be highlights and outtakes, a preview of the finale and a visit by 2009 Bachelor Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, the gal he chose after he dumped Melissa, the gal he chose on the show.

Jackson can expect to see as many swimmers and gymnasts as NBA and NFL stars on the Nokia Theatre stage, which is graced by a variety of nonsports presenters from comedian Andy Samberg to model Marisa Miller to musician will.i.am. Kobe Bryant and Candace Parker are crowd favorites for Best Male and Best Female Athlete, but Michael Phelps and Nastia Liukin loom from the Beijing contingent.
