Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies) and Rufus Sewell (Eleventh Hour)
This fall TV season has suffered two more casualities — NBC's My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle — bringing the total numbers of shows shown the door to an unlucky seven. Interestingly, and perhaps as a true demonstration of yin and yang, nearly same number of shows have also been given the good word that they are keepers for the season.

Christian Slater, Kim Raver
The end is here for My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle.
Though NBC won't officially comment, multiple sources confirm that no additional episodes will be ordered for either series.
The double axing is hardly shocking. Despite heavy hype, the highly touted, Christian Slater-led Enemy failed to make friends with viewers, losing viewers each week. This past Monday's outing hit a new ratings low of ...

Elizabeth Reaser, The Ex List
It would seem that Bella will never reunite with her one true love. CBS has pulled The Ex List from its Friday line-up effective immediately. To date, 11 episodes (including the pilot) had been filmed, so seven remain unaired.
Despite debuting to decent critical notices, The Ex List has struggled in its berth between heavy hitters Ghost Whisperer and Numbers - both of which hit season highs this past week, while the Elisabeth Reaser-starrer sank to a low.
The Ex List premiered to 7.2 million viewers, which at the time was an "OK" 77 percent retention of the Ghost Whisperer audience. This past Friday, however ...

Laurie Metcalf and Kristoffer Polaha
Media Rights Capital, the third party firm which was given the task of producing the CW's Sunday-night programming, has shut down production on the scripted series Easy Money and Valentine. A spokesperson for MRC tells TVGuide.com the break is "a planned hiatus," noting that writers and producers have been working non-stop since July. Both shows, says the rep, are expected to complete their original 13-episode orders.
As detailed in this Sunday's ratings recap, Valentine dipped a bit from its already tepid premiere numbers (to just over a million viewers), while Easy Money plunged nearly 30 percent from its debut, to 753,000.
The unscripted In Harm's Way, which this week delivered 729K, remains out of harm's way, while the dysfunctional family comedy Surviving Suburbia (the fourth of MRC's initial offerings) isn't set to premiere until early 2009.
