On hand were stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, surprise guest Matt Davis and executive producer Julie Plec to answer fan questions and give an idea of what's ahead.

The Vampire Diaries Exclusive: Bonnie and Damon's Comic-Con Plea

The sound you just heard was about 4,000 Vampire Diaries fans losing their minds over this perfect video that kicked off the show's panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this afternoon. Featuring Kat Graham and Ian Somerhalder musing over the fate of their characters, Bonnie and Damon, now that they've been sucked into oblivion, the video hits all the right notes and brings up a few good questions. Will we see a bigger storyline for Tyler? Could he be Elena's new guy? What is Alaric gonna do now that he's alive again? And most importantly, are "Bamon" gone for good? (Don't make us laugh!)

Here's the clip, which we're sure those in the San Diego Convention Center's packed Ballroom 20 will want to check out ASAP, since there is no way they heard most of the jokes over their room-rattling screams.
