It's somehow been two decades since the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer led viewers through a dreamy look at a town full of secrets. Twin Peaks changed television forever with its mix of bizarre characters, alternately terrifying and hilarious melodrama, and an atmosphere that merged sexy and chilly. In honor of the show's 20-year anniversary, we look back on its impossibly good-looking cast and what's become of them.

Though his character became apparently possessed in the show's final episode, the years after Twin Peaks have been good to Kyle MacLachlan, now part of the Desperate Housewives ensemble. And he's spending less on hair gel than he used to, which is nice.

After playing professional jailbait (and undercover call girl) Audrey Horne, Fenn went on to play Elizabeth Taylor, a role perfect for her classical beauty. She's worked steadily since, most recently appearing on In Plain Sight.

Twin Peaks' sheriff was always reliable, despite just the slightest weakness for local mill owner Josie Packard. The actor who played him has had the steady work you'd expect. But Ontkean has yet to age into what would seem his perfect role: President Harry Truman.

Robertson has done on-screen and voiceover work — which is fitting, since she was the voice at the other end of the line whenever Twin Peakers called the sheriff's office. She's also slated to turn up at this year's Twin Peaks Festival, an annual affair where die-hards discuss the show over pie and damn good coffee.

No one has bettered Lee at playing "dead, wrapped in plastic," but she's good at playing live people too. It's one of the reasons David Lynch cast her as Laura's lookalike cousin, Maddy. Lee has gone on to appear in Mother Night (again playing two members of the same family), One Tree Hill, and Dirty Sexy Money.
