By the third go-around, Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) had become so comfortable as Santa Claus that it really started to affect his fashion sense — and not in a good way.

When the ever-chipper Lemon family pays Liz (Tina Fey) a visit, the gang goes out to dinner — matching snowflake sweaters and all. Too bad the picture-perfect evening turns into a massive quarrel.

How Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger) could have a crush on any man willing to wear a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer turtleneck sweater is beyond us. Only Colin Firth could pull that one off.

Leave it to Mac (Rob McElhenney) to never miss out on a opportunity to show off his guns by wearing a sleeveless "Noel" T-shirt with a dancing Christmas tree. Charlie (Charlie Day) went a bit more traditional with his snow-covered landscape scene. Probably not the best way to impress The Waitress.

As much as Luther and Nora Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) try to stand their ground in not celebrating Christmas, that doesn't stop Nora from donning a horrific poinsettia cardigan.

Mrs. McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten) gets a free pass for her red-and-gold holiday attire because she looks cute. Lee (Kevin Rahm), however, has no excuse for that oversized snowflake atrocity.

You can really tell that Brian is beyond thrilled to wear the lovely Christmas sweater Lois made him. Too bad it's clearly made for a female.

Steve Finch (Matthew Broderick) is all about keeping his family Christmas traditions alive. Unfortunately, one of those traditions is having his family pose for holiday cards while wearing matching sweaters with stuffed reindeer sewn on the front.

We get that Santa Claus (Paul Giamatti) is suppose to look festive and jolly, but that doesn't give him permission to wear tacky sweater-vests when he's off the clock.

It's hard to say what's more ridiculous about the sweater the Grinch (Jim Carrey) wore: the jingle bell-lined candy cane sleeves or the "Ho Ho Ho" trim. The garland headdress, however, trumps both.

There's something awesome about seeing Roseanne in a holiday turtleneck topped by a green-and-red candy cane sweater. Of course, she has a beer nearby.

You have to love that Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell) and his family actually dressed in their most festive (read: gaudy) holiday wear to Skype with Phil's dad Frank from Florida. Claire (Julie Bowen) wins for the pom-pom zipper.

Seth (Adam Brody) loves the holidays, whether it's celebrating Chrismukkah or wearing the same reindeer knitwear from when he was 8 years old.

If this gallery focused on poses alone, we'd have a field day with this one. Man-child Dale (John C. Reilly) provides enough entertainment in this family photo with the mistletoe appliqués adorning his flying reindeer sweater. They even match his red Converse — nice touch!

Only Betty Suarez (America Ferrera) and her challenged fashion sense could pull off a snowman sweater with a three-dimensional string of holiday lights. The matching glasses and fake snow just add to the overall effect.

Quick, what's worse: Catherine O'Hara's red fur-trimmed cardigan with a golden jingle bell or the idea that James Gandolfini is wearing a giant snowflake sweater?
