Release Date: May 14 Russell Crowe stars as the fabled archer and outlaw in this retelling of the classic tale. Expect the usual elements (Robin annoying the Sherriff of Nottingham and making a play for Maid Marian's heart). With frequent Crowe collaborator Ridley Scott behind the camera, we're expecting an epic of Gladiator's caliber.

Shrek: The Final Chapter

Release Date: May 21 Shrek, Fiona and Donkey hope to go out with a bang with this 3-D adventure. To feel like a real ogre again, Shrek (Mike Myers) makes a deal with a sneaky Rumpelstiltskin. Instead, Shrek ends up in an alternate version of Far Far Away where Rumpelstiltskin is king, ogres are hated (and hunted), and Shrek and Fiona have never met.

MacGruber

Release Date: May 21 The latest Saturday Night Live sketch to get the feature-length treatment, MacGruber stars Will Forte and Kristen Wiig in their SNL roles. Joining the fun: Ryan Phillippe as Lt. Dixon Piper and Val Kilmer as MacGruber's archnemesis Dieter Von Cunth, who threatens to destroy Washington with a nuclear warhead.

Release Date: May 27 New York's fabulous four reunite only to leave the city behind for vacation in Morocco, where Samanthas's ex is filming a new movie. Look for flashbacks to the earlier years of the girls' friendship and appearances by Miley Cyrus, Heidi Klum and John Corbett, who returns as Carrie's former lover Aidan.
