Hear ye, fair Scrubs fans: Tonight, the show's finale airs with an episode inspired by Monty Python and The Princess Bride. In it, Dr. Cox tells his son a bedtime story that recasts the Sacred Heart crew as denizens of a faraway land.

Zach Braff (J.D.), who also directed the episode, plays the village idiot. "We're wearing period clothes and farm animals are walking around - it's a lot," he says. "It's the most ambitious episode we've ever done."

When not busy directing, Braff (with Aloma Wright) sang En Vogue's "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)."

"It's the first time I've had eyeshadow and eyeliner on, which has begged different questions when we've gone out to dinner at night," says fair knight John C. McGinley.

"On Day 1, you're like, 'Woo-hoo! I get to be a princess!'" says Sarah Chalke (Elliot). "By Day 3, it's 'I have to set my alarm for 3:45 am again.' The hours are nuts."

"I'm the dark lord, named Oslek - 'Kelso' backwards," explains Ken Jenkins. "I have the biggest cape in the world."

"It's like having two beds tied to your feet," says Neil Flynn (Janitor, with creator Bill Lawrence) of his giant costume. Lawrence added, "Once a year we try to take on something that makes us work three or four times as hard."
