Monday: Prison Break vs. HeroesPrison Break returns in a new time slot after a strong third season (and with a believed-dead character returning). Heroes, however, flailed in its second year and has had a long hiatus. Should be quite a duel.

Tuesday: House vs. NCIS The good doctor (and his shaken up staff) delivered a powerful finale, perhaps appeasing angry fans for said shake-up. Ironically, next seaon House will battle NCIS, which endured its own mixing of the bag in the season finale.

Tuesday: Fringe vs. The MentalistIn the first new show face-off, Fox's thriller about the investigation of strange phenomena takes on a CBS cop drama (surprise, surprise) featuring a detective with heightened observational skills (aka, blonde Psych).

Wednesday: Law Order: SVU vs. Without A Trace vs. Eli StoneAlthough Eli squeaked out a second season, it now faces the juggernaut of not one, but two popular procedurals. Will viewers still have "faith" in the newcomer

Wednesday: Bones vs. Pushing DaisiesBooth and Brennan land another new spot on Fox's schedule, this time against the popular (but barely seen thanks to the writers' strike) Pushing Daisies. Will the Gormogon twist and new timeslot cost Bones viewers

Thursday: Life on Mars vs. Eleventh HourThis second showdown of the newbies (both remakes of British shows) features a cop who time warps after being hit by a car and a scientist who becomes a consultant for the boys in blue. Is sci-fi taking over

Friday: Numbers vs. LifeThough most shows try to avoid Friday night slots, Numbers has seemed to thrive there in the past. Will the same be true for bubble survivor Life, or will it be the "death slot's" newest victim

Sunday: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, Brothers SistersWe know these shows aren't competing. We just thought you should know that unless you're a football watcher, ABC is the place to be on Sunday night.
