Liza Minnelli and David Gest

Estimated Cost: $3.5 million The Wedding: MGM couldn't have scripted the 2002 nuptials better. After a ceremony at New York's Marble Collegiate Church, guests (including Michael Douglas, Barbara Walters, and Diana Ross) enjoyed a reception at the Regent Wall Street Hotel that included a performance by Tony Bennett. Minnelli wore a gown designed by Bob Mackie (aka the guy who makes Cher look like, well, Cher). I'm sure its solid craftsmanship is still intact; unfortunately, the marriage isn't. The couple parted ways legally 17 months later. Most Outlandish Detail: Elizabeth Taylor served as the Maid of Honor and Michael Jackson, who reportedly moonwalked on the altar, was the Best Man.Watch TV Guide Network's Kathy Griffin's Insightful and Hilarious Take on the Royal Wedding on Friday, April 29 at 8/7c.
