It was her only marriage that didn't end in divorce. Taylor married the theater and film producer (who was also 20 years her senior) in 1957, and he died in a plane crash in '58. They had a daughter (Liza).

Eddie Fisher

All the sympathy Elizabeth Taylor got as a widow evanesced when fans saw her as a home wrecker, marrying the '50s crooner, who dumped Debbie Reynolds for her. They were married from 1959 to 1964, when she, in turn, dumped him for Richard Burton. She had her fourth child (Maria) with Fisher.

Richard Burton

Probably the love of her life. She and the Welsh actor shared the silver screen 11 times, notably in Cleopatra (when they met) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? They were married in 1964 and divorced in 1974. Coverage of "Liz and Dick" back in the day would make Brangelina look like they've been ignored by comparison.

Richard Burton (again!)

Sixteen months after they split, they remarried in October 1975, but they lasted barely 10 months.

Liz became, of all things, a public servant's wife. In December 1976, she married the former Navy secretary, who became the Republican senator from Virginia. They divorced in November 1982.

She and the the construction worker — who was 20 years younger — met while they were both in rehab at the Betty Ford Center. They married on Oct. 6, 1991 at Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch amid a media circus with helicopters overhead and a journalist parachuting in. They divorced Oct. 31, 1996.
