When asked about the departure of Julie Benz, Dexter star Michael C. Hall joked that she is now on a show with a "Michael C. Hicklis." Benz co-stars with Shield alum Michael Chiklis in ABC's No Ordinary Family this fall.

At the panel for The Expendables, the manliest of manly movies, it was revealed that Stone Cold Steve Austin fractured Sylvester Stallone’s neck in a fight: "When the writer, the director and the lead actor tells you to kick the sh-- out of him, then I’m gonna kick the sh--out of him!" Austin said.

Joss Whedon made it official: He'll direct the Avengers movie. The crowd went wild, even though they already knew he would. Later, Whedon and J.J. Abrams dueled over 3-D movies. Whedon is a fan; Abrams, not so much. Specifically, Abrams said the clunky eyewear makes for a "dimmer" experience. He likes it "vibrant."

Harrison Ford — Han Solo himself! — surprised the crowd by turning up to promote Cowboys & Aliens, the new film by Iron Man director Jon Favreau. It was Ford's first appearance, despite his lead roles in such supergeek touchpoints as Blade Runner, Star Wars and the Indiana Jones films.
