Hard to believe, but Beverly Hills, 90210 — the ultimate teen drama — debuted 20 years ago on Oct. 4, 1990. During its 10 years on the air, the Fox drama saw many residents enter and exit the posh town. So what's everyone up to now?

Then: None of the 90210-ers had a stronger moral compass than Priestley's Brandon Walsh. As the glue that held the gang together, Brandon remained a central figure well through the West Beverly and CU days as someone you can always turn to (except when gambling is involved). Brandon was the last Walsh family member to bid adieu to Beverly Hills after accepting a job in Washington, D.C., at the beginning of Season 9.

Now: Priestley, who directed several episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210, continued his work behind the scenes, including directing episodes of 7th Heaven, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and 90210. He also starred in the short-lived series Tru Calling, Love Monkey and Side Order of Life.

Then: As Brandon's rebellious twin sister, Brenda always seemed at odds with her parents — especially when it came to her bad-boy boyfriend Dylan. Doherty's character was the show's drama queen — both literally and figuratively — so it was only fitting that she was written off the show in Season 4 when Brenda moved to London to attend a school for dramatic arts.

Now: Following a few made-for-TV movies and a lead role in Mallrats, Doherty settled in to another Aaron Spelling series as the lead in Charmed. She most recently resurrected her character Brenda Walsh for a multiple episodes of CW's 90210 and appeared as a contestant on Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars.

Then: Though Garth's character, Kelly Taylor, began the series as a spoiled princess, she quickly grew up through the years after dealing with a diet pill addiction, a cult, a rape, a drug problem, a drunk for a mother — and the list goes on. Though she was in relationships with both Brandon and Dylan, she nearly married Brandon, but called off the wedding at the altar. She later reunited romantically with Dylan in the finale. In the CW reboot of 90210, we learn that Kelly has a son with Dylan.

Now: Two years after the show's end, Garth went on to star in the sitcom What I Like About You with Amanda Bynes for four seasons. She then appeared on Season 5 of Dancing with the Stars before reprising her role as Kelly Taylor, who is now a guidance counselor at West Bev, in the first two seasons of CW's 90210.

Then: Steve Sanders loved two things: his Corvette and a good party. Ziering's always-scheming character eventually matured and married Janet and had a daughter with her.

Now: Ziering guest-starred on several series, including JAG and CSI: NY. But his biggest claim to fame since Beverly Hills, 90210 was competing on Season 4 of Dancing with the Stars.

Then: Andrea (pronounced Ahhn-drea) Zuckerman was the gang's bookworm who had it unbelievably bad for Brandon. Carteris' character pulled a 180 in college when she started sleeping with her R.A., and later a bartender named Jesse. She and Jesse had a baby, got married, and ultimately divorced. Carteris left the show during the fifth season when Andrea finally wised up and decided to go to Yale.

Now: In 2003, Carteris participated in the first season of The Surreal Life. She has appeared on Nip/Tuck, Crossing Jordan and Criminal Minds.

Then: Perry played Dylan McKay, a roguish loner who had nearly no parental supervision. Perry took a hiatus from the show after Season 6, when Dylan's wife was murdered, but he returned in Season 9 and wound up getting back together with Kelly in the series finale.

Now: Other than guest work on several shows, Perry has co-starred in NBC's short-lived drama Windfall and HBO's John from Cincinnati, which ran for only 10 episodes. He also can be seen in The Killers' 2009 music video for "Happy Birthday Guadalupe."

Then: There was nothing David Silver wanted more in high school than to be cool, and when Donna Martin decided she wanted to date Green's nerdy character, he finally got his wish. Though he and Donna broke up and saw other people, the two reunited and married in the series finale. David and Kelly share a half-sister, Erin, who is a lead character on the CW's 90210, and goes by the nickname Silver.

Now: Green co-starred on the Freddie Prinze Jr. sitcom Freddie before landing a role on Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which was canceled after two seasons. He's since recurred on Smallville and will play Marcia Cross' love interest on the new season of Desperate Housewives. (Oh yeah, he also married Megan Fox.)

Then: He first appeared as dorky David Silver's best friend Scott Scanlon, but soon became an outsider as David's popularity began to rise. During his birthday party, which the gang begrudgingly attends in Season 2, Scott accidentally shoots himself with his father's handgun.

Now: Emerson retired from acting and hasn't been seen on screen since his character uttered his last words. As of 2002, he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, working in intelligence.

Then: Ah, nepotism! Spelling's father, Aaron, produced Beverly Hills, 90210. One of only four cast members to remain throughout its whole run, Spelling played Donna Martin, who notoriously abstained from pre-marital sex — or until college graduation night when she decided to finally sleep with David.

Now: The three-time best-selling author now headlines her own Oxygen reality show with husband Dean McDermott and their children, Liam and Stella.

Then: She played the understanding, down-to-earth Cindy Walsh, mom to Brenda and Brandon, but in Season 5, viewers said goodbye as she and husband Jim moved to Hong Kong.

Now: 90210 was Potter's last show as a series regular, but the actress has since made guest appearances on NYPD Blue, Greek and Medium.

Then: Jim Walsh was the stricter of the Walsh parents, notably disapproving his daughter Brenda's relationship with bad boy Dylan.

Now: Eckhouse has appeared in numerous shows through the years. Acting also runs in his family: His son, Zander, stars on ABC Family's Huge.

Then: He first appeared during the college years as bartender Jesse Vazquez, who Andrea meets during Jim and Cindy's 20th anniversary party. The two start dating and soon become pregnant, welcoming Hannah Zuckerman Vazquez. The couple moved to Connecticut, seemingly happy. But when Andrea made a guest appearance later in the series, she mentioned she and Jesse divorced.

Now: While he hasn't been a series regular on a show since, Espinoza has appeared on The Young and the Restless, Castle and House. Hannah Zuckerman Vasquez, Andrea and Jesse's daughter, appeared briefly in the first episode of 90210.

Then: Valerie Malone was the new girl in town who quickly became the resident bad girl after Brenda's sudden departure. She dated just about every member of the gang and was Kelly Taylor's archenemy. Although she returned to Buffalo in Season 9, Valerie attended David and Donna's wedding in the series finale.

Now: The former Saved by the Bell star dropped the "Amber" part of her name and later joined the cast of White Collar. She's now married to Brady Smith, and the couple has a daughter named Harper.

Then: Nat Bussichio started out as the owner of the group's hangout spot, The Peach Pit, but soon became a close friend. After Donna's father died, Nat walked her down the aisle at her wedding.

Now: Tata reprised his role as Nat in the CW reboot 90210.

Then: Walters joined 90210 in 1994 as Donna's new boyfriend, musician Ray Pruit (his mama couldn't afford the other T) — a role created just for him. Though Ray started off as a broody-but-nice guy, he eventually started abusing Donna, causing Walters, a real-life musician, to ask out of his contract two years later.

Now: Walters continues to perform and appeared in the 2009 VH1 reality series Confessions of a Teen Idol, which chronicled seven former teen idols as they tried to get back into the spotlight.

Then: As essentially Andrea's less nerdy replacement, Robertson's brainy Clare Arnold joined the show in 1994 as a high school senior, while the gang were college freshmen. The wild-child daughter of a diplomat, she eventually skipped a grade and dated David and Steve. She left after their college graduation in 1997, choosing to move to France with her dad instead of being with Steve. What a daddy's girl!

Now: Robertson has guest-starred on such shows as Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Medium and CSI: Miami.

Then: Swank's single mother Carly Reynolds arrived in 1997 with son Zach in tow and immediately got off on the wrong foot with Steve after he, unintentionally, got her fired from her job. They dated, but broke up when Carly decided to move back to Montana to care for her sick father. (Swank was let go after 16 episodes because of poor reception to the character.)

Now: Arguably the most successful alum, Swank booked Boys Don't Cry soon afterward, for which she won a best actress Oscar in 2000. Five years later, she won her second Oscar for Million Dollar Baby. After getting axed from the world's most famous zip code, she said: "If I'm not good enough for 90210, I'm not good enough for anything." Except winning Oscars!

Then: A male model, Young's Noah Hunter entered the fray during a photo shoot in Hawaii. He went on to romance Donna and Valerie, but his drinking caused problems in both relationships. In the end, he decided to commit to new gal pal, single mom Ellen, and continued to manage the Peach Pit After Dark.

Now: Young has kept a low profile since his 9-0 days, doing the occasional guest spot on CSI: NY and NCIS.

Then: Little did we know that when Price joined the show in Season 8 playing Janet Sosna, a graphic designer who worked at Steve's newspaper, The Beverly Beat, she would end up domesticating the former womanizer. The two eventually married and had a daughter, Maddy. And they lived happily ever after at the Walshes' former home. We think.

Now: Price has starred on a handful of unsuccessful shows since, including Coupling, Lipstick Jungle and Eastwick.

Then: Cosgrove's divorced lawyer Matt Durning was one of Kelly's last boyfriends, during the final two seasons. He became a sperm donor for his late brother and sister-in-law, and decided to break it off with Kelly in the series finale so she and Dylan could give it another go.

Now: A two-time Daytime Emmy nominee, Cosgrove joined Guiding Light in 2002 and, save for two years, remained on the soap until its series finale in September 2009. He recently rejoined All My Children to reprise his role as Scott Chandler, whom he played from 1996-97.

Then: Marcil joined the cast in Season 9 as backstabbing Gina Kincaid, Donna's cousin and Valerie's bad-girl replacement. She bedded both David and Dylan, and lied to Donna about sleeping with Noah. Then she made derogatory comments about Kelly on TV after Kelly killed her rapist. And in true prime-time soap fashion, Gina later discovered that she and Donna are both cousins and half-sisters.

Now: Marcil starred on Las Vegas before returning to her Daytime Emmy-winning role as Brenda Barrett on General Hospital. It's an old role, but she has a new stage name: After marrying CSI: NY star Carmine Giovinazzo, the actress, who has a son with Brian Austin Green, now goes by Vanessa Marcil-Giovinazzo.
