In 1994, Fox shot to fame as Charlie Salinger, the eldest of five orphaned siblings in this teen drama, which won the Golden Globe for best drama series in 1996.

Fox returned to TV in 2002 in this short-lived UPN series about a cop-turned-private eye who, after a near-death experience, can communicate with the ghosts of murdered people. The show was canceled after seven episodes due to low ratings.

Fox has earned Emmy, Golden Globe and Television Critics Association award nominations for his portrayal of troubled surgeon and de facto island leader Jack Shephard on the hit ABC drama. Fox has said he has no plans to do another TV show after logging in six years each on Party of Five and Lost.
