A theater vet, Britton made her film debut in this Edward Burns dramedy. She played Molly McMullen, the wife of Jack.

Britton played accountant Nikki Faber for four seasons on the ABC comedy. Her character was dropped for the show's final two seasons when Charlie Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox.

Britton has received two Television Critics Association Award nominations and one Emmy nomination for her turn as Tami Taylor on the football drama. She also starred in the 2004 Friday Night Lights film, also playing the wife of the head football coach.
